It means, Bye Malaysia.
I will be flying to England tomorrow for my brother's convocation at Cambridge University. Did you know, it costs 32 pounds/pax to travel from Heathrow Airport to Drummer street,CB ? and the journey alone takes 3 hours by coach! Whoa! Thats really tiring. Fortunately, my mom wanted to arrive earlier, so we booked a taxi which costs about 100 pounds for all of us, and it only takes 1+hours.
Paris Disneyland is part of our Itinerary. I have waited all my life to visit Disneyland. Now its finally here. Yay. Well, see you guys in 10 days time from tomorrow.
Ciao!

Career options! 'Hanky-job'
After a long halt from blogging, I finally decided to return and share my latest updates about my life and interests. A number of you might know, I 'have' and 'had' many (and I meant MANY) interests and hobbies which in time became part of me as my career option.
Well, this is a Chronology of my career choice.
1993 (5 years old) - Song writer/singer (my mom got shocked when she saw my lyrics. She went 'wow, thats really meaningful' ...... little did she know that i had them copied from the karaoke tapes which i paused on tv....)
1995 (7 years old) - Policeman, Lawyer, Doctor (well, that was the few job options I knew of that time...Policeman for bravery, Lawyer for arguments, Doctor for wealth...and it lasted for a few years...not bad for a kid)
1999 (11 years old) - Pilot, Scientist, Farmer (Pilot for travelling, Scientist for fame, and Farmer? WTH? I told my teacher I liked planting cacti, and that was what she translated for me!)
2001 (13 years old) - Botanist (I started to know more about science and I still liked cacti)
2004 (16 years old) - Psychologist (Learning some tricks on mind reading....in addition to my cousin's influence....she studied Psychology at Help U College)
2005 (17 years old) - Pilot ( Remember the movie Triumph in the Skies??? It was really inspiring...I believed that I became a pilot too....until...)
Meanwhile, I fell in love with Ivy League Universities. Thanks to Elizabeth Wong's (Yale U.) talk in the counselling room.
2005 ( after SPM ) - Fashion Design/Graphics Design/Interior Design/Landscape Designer ( I swore I will never touch the Sciences again as I was all along good in arts craft and designing)
2005 ( more time ) - Horticulturist ( After DEEP research. Thanks to Doctor job. I found this uncommon choice, which in deed is what i'm looking for. Botanists just study TOO much about plants. This option teaches you both about plants and business acumens. However you can only find this course in the US. And Cornell is one of them. BIOLOGY was the COMPULSORY subject. How i really hated Biology....goodness..)
A levels was the best choice to gain entrance to Ivy League Universities. I tried many combinations of subject like Bio, Chem, Maths, Accounting/Computing/English Literature.....
and finally I chose Physics. What? I thought I was never going to touch the sciences again. In the end, I chose all three again....sigh
2006 (18 years old) - Horticulturist, Veterinary Medicine, Biotech, Biologist ( With that combination of subjects, I have broaden my knowledge into Medicine eventhough I never once thought of it as an option before. Well I love animals. Biologist, for Genetic purposes, in which i can invent and control the lifespan of living things.)
Well, Biology(apart from Maths) is my Favourite subject now. Somehow, I understand better.
2006 (very recent) - Violin making, Musician ( This is the BEST course I have ever seen. It is my dream come true to study that. It looks rather far apart from what i'm studying now, but did you know that violin making combines the arts, crafts, science and maths? Thats how complicating it is. Currenly, I'm eyeing Cremona International Violin Making School, but I doubt I will be able to make it as lectures are conducted in Italian. And I have to pass their language profficiency test.)
Well, these are a few interesting sites about violin making.

Thats roughly what I see in me.....right now, horticulture, biotech, violinmaking, business, and biology is what i'm thinking of.

Headlines
College life has instantaneously taken up most of my time hence making this blog look boring and plain. Well, this happens when you're forking up ~RM25K for an 'international edu-passport' (something you shd know if you hadnt realised it).
Sunday Night,JW Mariott - A blast, was all they have said. An experienced-talented pianist with a semi-pro violinist ended the wedding function with full magnitude. Though not entirely perfect, still unbelievable. Just a few hours flashback before the performance, the violinist himself had a relentless desire to make it work! All he thought of was Chambers Music. Thank God, the hosts were generous enough to rent a full-size keyboard (RM200/3 hours) with touch-keys to give it a grandpiano effect. It was indeed an unforgettable evening for both the guests and the musicians themselves!

Btw, we were told that people born in the year of the Dragon should not be involved in that function (based on some feng shui calculations). Well, nobody told us about it until we ended. *grin*

My encounter with the awesome Quartet.
Since this blog was created, i hadn't found enough spare time to jot down my 'mood-of-the-day' or 'experience-of-the-day' like everyone else does. And I'm still very busy btw. But something held me back from keeping this to myself. I have to say that i've met some extremely cool people on Wednesday namely Zee Kin, Sandra, Wei En and Kai Yin. Despite their hectic lectures, homeworks, and activities, they showed so much enthusiasm in music. They came all the way from Subang, just to help me out with one of my friend's wedding performance. The worst part for me was when I had to tell them that we might not get paid...WHO ON EARTH WOULD DO THINGS FOR FREE???.....yet they showed no despair at all. Instead, they said they would play for fun. It was indeed a blessing meeting them that day. Their endless support and willingness to sacrifice their time for this performance was just remarkable.
Music connects the human soul, to the human heart. Can we live without music??
NEVER!!!!

A new beginning
Blogging was never my cup of tea - Viewing every angle of your life in public just feels awkward. Then came this time when I realised how people's life had an impact on me. It just made me envious to own my own. 'My Hankerchief' - will be with me for a very long time from now. By then, hoping it to be with many others too. I believe this is the best place to keep in touch with everyone. So feel free to drop me comments and add me to your blog.
Every ending has a new beginning ; so lets get the ball rolling.
